Marco Ravaioli and Lambretta take 16th place in Indianapolis
This weekend was the 11th round of the 2010 MotoGP Championship, and marked the best race of the season for Team Lambretta and driver Marco Ravaioli.
Marco Ravaioli: "I am very happy with how we dealt with the weekend. Also this time, my Lambretta has allowed me to the race without too many problems, although we struggled a bit in the tests. The sixteenth place now is without doubt my best result of the season, even if my target remains winning points. The next race will take place at Misano, which I consider my home track, living 50 kilometers [away]."
After almost 60 years, the Lambretta marquee returned to professional racing in the 125cc class in 2010. Partnered with Engines Engineering in Italy, they mentioned that not only have they been developing world class racing motorcycles, but have been working on the new range of street scooters equipped with the new Lambretta rotary valve engine.
